I would assume most or all CAM companies are exploring cloud technologies.  As you mentioned, the biggest concern is file security.  Mastercam currently has a hybrid approach where you can access your Onshape files from within Mastercam:  https://www.mastercam.com/en-us/Onshape]]></description>
