Webinar series

Here’s a quick overview of the free 30-minute webinars that we will be hosting this week. You will find a wide variety of topics from design/inspection and 3D printing to Mastercam and machining. Make use of some of your downtime and join us for one or all of the following events. Please register for any of these events by clicking on the buttons provided.

Verisurf – From Blank Screen to a Fully Automated Inspection Plan

Date: Monday, May 11th
Time: 11:00 am

In our previous Verisurf webinars we covered info on the CAD, BUILD and MEASURE modules for the same part. In this final installment, we will prepare users to develop and execute an inspection plan in Verisurf using the AUTOMATE module. We will demonstrate a pre-built inspection plan within the AUTOMATE module and display a 3-2-1 alignment and inspection of a connecting arm. We will develop how to assess the resulting data in the pre-built report, as well as include a discussion of the Universal CMM (UCMM). Find out how to use your Verisurf’s UCMM product to present an alternative to limited proprietary solutions and ultimately provide the CMM user with an identical Mastercam interface.

Mastercam 3D Milling

Date: Tuesday, May 12th
Time: 9:30 am

Join us for this demonstration Webinar on the application of Design X and how it differs from Wrap for reverse engineering. Whether your need is to convert physical parts into fully editable CAD models, or to use models for FEA/toolpath generation, this Webinar will guide you through the process and how it works.

Reverse Engineering Back to Native CAD

Solving the Mystery of the Lattice Commander

Date: Thursday, May 14th
Time: 11:00 am

One of the popular trends in light-weighting 3D digital files is creating lattice work directly within the geometry. Autodesk Netfabb facilitates this process by using the Lattice Commander which is a very powerful tool that provides a wide array of options. However, in order to use this tool successfully, you must follow a certain workflow. Do you like the sound of producing fantastic lattice structures each time you try? Then join us for this webinar where we will demonstrate correct workflow, while exhibiting key parameters that will enable you to produce fantastic lattice structures without exceptions.

Creating and Using Stock Models for Machining

Date: Friday, May 15th
Time: 9:30 am

Join us for this webinar which will discuss the creation and usage of stock models for machining. We will demonstrate how to use stock models for machining by examining 3 Axis milling using stock models for calculating rest and leftover style machining from
