By using the custom tool database you should be able to decrease some of the time it would take for programming, calculating feeds & speeds and hunting for tools in the default tool database/libraries.

Moving forward, what I would find helpful is an in-depth explanation of behavior related to each option in Machine Group Properties | Tool settings | Feed Calculation. I’ve always found this behavior confusing.
